In addition to the use of existing additive manufacturing technologies, machinery design and manufacturing activities are also carried out in order to develop new technologies. This manufacturing technique, rapidly developing in our country and in the world, is used in almost all fields, especially in aerospace, aviation and biomedical industries. A better understanding of this technology will be possible through the domestic development of these machines with all their components.
The activities related to the technologies listed below are continuing in our research center.
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)
This technology is one of the fastest developing and widely used manufacturing technologies in additive manufacturing. In this technology, polimer filaments with different properties are formed layer by layer . There are different types of machines developed with this technology in our center. One of these machines and parts produced is shown below.
SLA Printers ( Projet 1200)
This technology is used in the production of small and sensitive parts. Mostly used in the jewelry industry for the purpose of model and mold production.
Binder Jetting Printers (It was developed in BİMAYAM with the support of SRP.)
